Police are investigating a car fire incident in Lisbon yesterday morning as an untimely death. Crews were called to the Target on River Road for a report of a vehicle fire. Further information on the person who died was not immediately released.

Gillette Castle State Park will be reopening later this month after an almost half million terrace restoration project was completed. Officials have announced that the interior of the castle is set to reopen to visitors on May 27th.  

The auction for the Crystal Mall in Waterford began yesterday . The mall, located on the Hartford Turnpike, sits on 82 acres and includes more than 500,000 square feet of space. Bid increments are set at $1 million, the auction will end later this week.

A Groton man who is facing charges for allegedly secretly recording videos of a young girl is facing additional charges after two illegal assault weapons were allegedly found in his home. 37 year old Michael Landon was arrested yesterday on new charges.
