The Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 3 of the National League Championship Series (NLCS) on Thursday night, returning home to Chase Field in downtown Phoenix for the 2-1 victory to avoid a 3-0 series deficit.

Game 3 was scoreless through six innings with strong pitcing from starters Brandon Pfaadt and Ranger Suárez, and then was tied 1-1 through eight innings before the D-backs built their game-winning rally against Craig Kimbrel in the ninth, thanks to Ketel Marte’s walk-off single, his third hit of the game.

Philadelphia still has a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series. Game 4 between the Diamondbacks and Phillies will take place on Friday night at Chase Field. The first pitch will be at 5:07 p.m.
